We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)

  • Medical information if relevant to use of the workshop equipment.

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • Subscribe to our E-newsletter

  • You contact us to become a volunteer or volunteer for us; or contact us or become involved with us in another way

  • You apply for a job with us, become an employee or provide services

  • Make a donation to us

  • Become a member or supporter

  • Take part in any of our events or activities

 

We use the information that you have given us in order to
  • Keep a record of members and contact them when required.

  • Ensure members are trained on the equipment you are using for safety purposes.

  • Report on anonymised demographic information to funding partners, this may include postcodes.

We may share this information with Made With Many & Groundwork Northamptonshire in order share opportunities we believe you have legitimate interest in. We may share anonymised data with funding partners to evaluate activity.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information is your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting info@khlcommunityworkshop.org

How we store your personal information

We have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All electronic information you provide to us, or recorded electronically is stored on our secure servers.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

We may send communications to you by email. E-mail is not a fully secure means of communication, and whilst we try to keep our systems and communications protected we cannot guarantee this.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
